MARAZION: impromptu family session

As we sat on the beach at Marazion, the beautiful Hazel asked if i'd snap some pictures of her with her littlest, Tawnie. I was happy to oblige of course, and I'm really pleased with the results of this little impromptu family session. Just Hazel and her babies, playing on the beach.

I hope you love them Hazel xx

SUMMER HOLIDAY: PART THREE

It's become a little Cornish tradition to spend a day on the beach with my sister's great friend, and our friend too, Hazel. Two years ago, Hazel and I sat on the beach, comparing our rounded bellies. Last year, our babies met and this year Josephine and Edyn ran across the sand together, along with Hazel's eldest Zenny and her newest little one, Tawnie.

Picnics were eaten, the sweetest gifts exchanged, baby cuddles were squeezed and Phiney followed Zenny around, mesmerised by her as only a 19 month old is with a four year old.

The sun may not have shone, but the rain stayed away, and that's all you need for a lovely day on the beach with the sweetest family.

In one of her favourite places; at the bottom of the slide in the meadow. Wellie boots on, collecting stones and picking Mama dock leaves.

IN THE FIELDS

On Sunday we spent the afternoon barbecuing and playing in the fields at my Dad's house, before he jetted off to LA for a month, then onto Australia until the end of January. Such is the life of a movie Costume Designer. Yesterday he met Angelina Jolie, the director. It's a big one, this film.

Josephine had an awesome time collecting hay from the fields, and charging around with my Dad and the dog.

We'll miss you Papa. Enjoy the heat of Queensland as we enjoy the snow. I can't believe we'll be in the depths of winter and Christmas will have been and gone before we see you next. I have no doubt time will fly. It seems to be zipping by faster than ever right now. We love you xx

ps. note to self: harvested corn fields and dry stone walls make awesome settings for photograph taking :)

BUNCHES

Oh! The cuteness!

Looking so grown up, our little toddler.

Those ringlets look as sweet pulled up into bunches as they do falling across her face.

And you know how much this Mama is loving playing with her little girl's hair :)
